Class Description -This class is geared towards those who have little or no prior drumming experience, but also easily accommodates intermediate players. For the warm-up we cover the basics such as holding and striking a drum, basic coordination drills. We will explore African and Latin Rhythms on a variety of instruments including djembe, conga drum, cajons and other ethnic instruments.

• Universal hand drum techniques
• Exercises for timing and speed
• Poly-Rhythms and Improvisation
Class Size – 5-7 people in a class.
Cost- The cost is 10 dollars a lesson per student and meets two-four times a month. Gather your friends and learn together. $20 per month.
Length of lesson - One hour.
Age- Classes will be for adults and children. Young children will need an adult. Both adult and children’s classes will be scheduled. (Times TBA)
Drums- Drums and instruments will be provided if you do not have your own. If you need a drum we can assist you with authentic African Djembe drums or other hand drums.
